Dr. Lauren Trager is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who grew up with a love of dentistry. She was raised in southern New Jersey and is one of six dental providers in her family. She practices full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery with extensive training in dentoalveolar and wisdom tooth surgery, high-quality sedation and anesthesia, and advanced hard and soft tissue grafting procedures. Her special interests include implantology, benign pathology, and she has a strong background in full arch dental implants with the all-on-x concept.
Dr. Trager graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where she continued her specialized training in the postgraduate Oral & Maxillofacial surgery residency. As a dental student, Dr. Trager was awarded the undergraduate DMD Oral & Maxillofacial surgery award. In addition, Dr. Trager received the Dr. Kenneth M. Stern Award for academic excellence and clinical aptitude as a postdoctoral resident. She continues to excel in a private practice setting and stays up to date on the latest techniques and technology through continuing education courses.
In her free time, Dr. Trager enjoys traveling, hiking in the summers, and snowboarding in the winters. She also enjoys spending time with her family and cooking.
